Control of low-cost prosthetic limb using EMG sensors
Šafran, Jindřich ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Rajchl, Matej (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is about the general design, construction and model assembling of the prosthetic arm. Its programming and controlling of the robotic part are also included. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the anatomy of forearm is analysed and described. Its anatomical structure is the theoretical base on which the final model is designed and constructed. Following, second chapter, comprises the analysis of prosthetic mechanisms according to the historical development up until today. And this chapter also contains the production of the designed forearm-hand-model itself. The third chapter describes the EMG diagnostic method and the process of manufacturing of each compartment of controller device used for controlling the mechanism of the designed model. Next, chapter number four contains gaining and processing of the data from testing of the measuring device. In the last fifth chapter, the programming of the made forearm-hand-model in various development environments is described. All the results and gained knowledge, are evaluated and described in the conclusion of the Bachelor thesis.
Dynamic Time Warping in Biosignal Processing
Kubát, Milan ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Klimek, Martin (advisor)
This work is dedicated to dynamic time warping in biosignal processing, especially it´s application for ECG signals. On the beginning the theoretical notes about cardiography are summarized. Then, the DTW analysis follows along with conditions and demands assessments for it’s successful application. Next, several variants and application possibilities are described. The practical part covers the design of this method, the outputs comprehension, settings optimization and realization of methods related with DTW
Analysis of long-term electrocardiograms
Bazovský, Richard ; Hlaváč, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This work is devoted to methodology of long-term treatment (24 hour) ECG signal using Holter’s monitoring with regard to heart rate variability (HRV). Where HRV is observed distances between heart systole (R-Rwaves) following behind or addiction immediate heart rate. Consequently, these processes can be handled in two ways, either by analyzing the time or frequency domain (spectral range). Through evaluation of these waveforms will be possible to determine the condition status of the heart or type of heart failure. In the programming environment Matlab algorithm was developed for the processing of signals at the output which gives the needed results in the form of graphs (HRV) or the values of important parameters. The functionality of the program was tested on several signals and the obtained values were close to the standard.
LabVIEW based Audio Signal Transmision via Ethernet
